  • Opportunities to Volunteer for WSQ
Several non-elected positions have opened up. For more details call the current committee head. Refer to your newsletter for phone numbers or use the e-mail addresses on the Board Member page.

Click here to see the entire listing of the board and their e-mail addresses.

Our Volunteer Coordinator, Robin Waggoner, is requesting WSQ members complete a member profile form to help her direct our member resources to the appropriate committees when need arises. Directions on how to return this form to Robin are noted at the bottom. Thank you.

Click here for a pdf of the form.

    The hospitality committee
needs a chair and help to deal with the logistics of the quarterly meetings, including picking up the door prizes (fun!), working with the great staff at CenterPlace, assisting with the show and tell, and checking people in at the door.

It's a busy job four times a year, but several people sharing the work make it fun.

This is a good entry place for new members who want to meet and greet, without a heavy commitment in time.

    The 2018 raffle quilt
needs a couple of people (or a small group) to plan the quilt and sell raffle tickets next year. Prior chairmen have already located several venues for showing off the quilt and selling raffle tickets.

Volunteers are always needed to help at various venues around town.

Roseanne London has volunteered to head the Publicity Committee
and needs people to assist her team. Advisors and mentors help you learn what to do. Graphic design and marketing skills are especially needed.

    The Interstate Fair committee
needs volunteers for 4 hours to man our booth during the 10 days of September’s fair.

All volunteers get a free pass to the fair. In addition to selling raffle tickets they get to talk to lots of people and have fun people watching.

    The Webmasters
can always use help. This job you can do this in your jammies! We are never too old to learn something new and Debra and Annie are glad to share their skills. Have you worked with website design in the past? Then you can share your expertise.

Even if there are no specific openings everyone can use some help so feel free to contact either Patty Yedinak or the committee chair. To contact Patty:
